TV's are intended to be viewed in dark rooms. If a touchscreen is backlit, it will be annoying; if it is not touchscreen, you can't use it since you can't feel anyn buttons. The qwerty keyboard makes more sense in a dark room. Not saying the touchscreen is bad, it's awesome... but I'm just saying that a qwerty keyboard remote is fully featured without the stupid gimmicks of Samsung and LG. Sony and Apple all the way! When Apple brings out their TV, the remote may well have a touchscreen. It will not have anything as dumb as a QWERTY keyboard.
