CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing, has launched its first over-ear headphones, the CMF Headphone Pro, priced at $84.

Why it matters: The CMF Headphone Pro offers high-end features typically found in pricier models, making them a competitive alternative in the budget audio market.

The details:

  • The headphones feature twist-off ear cushions, with replacement pads available in bright orange and light green for around $25.
  • They include a multi-function roller for adjusting volume, playback, and modes, as well as an Energy Slider for adjusting bass and treble emphasis.
  • The Headphone Pro boasts 40mm dynamic drivers, Hi-Res Audio certification, LDAC support, and a 3.5mm wired option.
  • Battery life is impressive, offering up to 100 hours of playback with ANC off and 50 hours with it active, with a quick 5-minute charge providing 4 hours of listening time.

The headphones also feature hybrid adaptive ANC, promising up to 40dB of noise reduction, and AI noise reduction for enhanced call quality.

Pricing and availability:

  • The CMF Headphone Pro is currently available overseas and will be shipped to U.S. customers starting October 7.
  • Priced at $84, with replacement ear cushions costing $25.
  • In the UK, the headphones are priced at £79, and in Europe, they cost €99.

The bottom line: With features like 100-hour battery life, adaptive ANC, swappable ear cushions, and physical controls, the CMF Headphone Pro offers high-end functionality at an accessible price point, making them a compelling choice for budget-conscious consumers.
