Google unveiled an impressive array of new Pixel devices and updates to its AI system, Gemini, at its 2025 Made by Google event in New York City. The event was hosted by The Tonight Show’s Jimmy Fallon and featured various celebrity appearances. The new lineup includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL.
All models are upgraded with new Tensor G5 processors, enhancing their power and efficiency. The base Pixel 10 now has a dedicated telephoto camera, providing a 5x optical zoom. Preorders for these phones began at the event, and they will start shipping on August 28.

Google also launched its Pixel 10 Pro Fold, notable for an IP68 rating, which offers significant resistance to dust and water. Priced at $1,800, the device will hit stores on October 9. The Pixel Watch 4 introduces new fitness options and the ability to detect and credit workouts automatically.
It can also detect a loss of pulse and alert emergency services.
Pixel 10’s AI-driven features debuts
Available in 42mm and 46mm sizes, it boasts a brighter screen and includes Gemini AI for seamless voice interactions.
Preorders are open now, with availability starting October 9. At $130, the new Pixel Buds 2A offer active noise cancellation and a comfortable fit with a twist-adjustable stabilizer. They are available for preorder in hazel and iris colors, with shipping starting on October 9.
Owners of Pixel Buds Pro 2 can look forward to a software update that allows call control via head gestures, enhanced Gemini live conversations in noisy environments, and adaptive audio features to protect hearing from loud sounds. Magic Cue, a new feature running on Google’s Gemini AI, processes personal data to generate reminders and updates about reservations, flights, and more while keeping sensitive data private on the device. The Pixel 10 Pro models introduce Pro Res Zoom, using generative AI to enhance images at up to 100x zoom.
Camera Coach, a new feature in the Pixel Camera app, provides real-time suggestions to improve photo composition and quality. Pixel 10 phones now support Pixelsnap, a magnetic charging and accessory system based on the Qi2 standard, similar to Apple’s MagSafe, allowing compatibility with a range of accessories. The Pixel 10 series will also feature live translation capabilities powered by Gemini AI and will become available in Mexico, continuing Google’s aim to expand its reach and usability.
