I think it is difficult for Americans to look realistically at Windows Phone in Europe. They try and transpose an American view and it just doesn’t work. Nokia had a fantastic reputation in Europe. Where Windows Phone has done well, is where Nokia did well. Most of us buy our phones outright here and it isn’t unusual for a family with iPhones or high end Androids to have one or two budget phones in the family for sports or for the kids. Windows Phone did well there. It would be wrong though to think that we were cock a hoop about Windows Phone. So far I have seen 3 Windows Phones in the wild in Europe and two were from Indians visiting here. The other was from a guy in his mid-70s, who always bought Nokia.
You’re so awesome! I don’t believe I have read a single thing like that before. So great to find someone with some original thoughts on this topic. Really..
Thank you for great information. I look forward to the continuation.
