VCs and tech leaders unite at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 to shape the future

The first group of venture capital judges for the Startup Battlefield 200 competition at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 has been announced. They will put the top 20 startups, chosen from thousands of applicants, to the test on stage. The judges will give honest feedback on what excites and concerns them about each company.

Winning Startup Battlefield has launched major companies like Dropbox and Mint. The winner will receive a $100,000 prize. Attendees can learn what it takes to deliver a winning pitch directly from the judges.

The first five judges are:

Philip Clark, an investor at Thrive Capital. He has invested in AI and robotics companies. Madison Faulkner, a partner at NEA.

She invests in data, infrastructure, and AI startups.

Leslie Feinzaig, founder of Graham & Walker VC.

She backs unique founders and ideas. Ilya Kirnos, co-founder of SignalFire. He leads the firm’s AI data platform.
