Email: david@techpinions.com
David Graff is a technologist, writer, and journalist who has been covering the technology industry for 3 years. He is the editor-in-chief of Techpinions, where he writes the bulk of the site’s daily coverage and the long-form AI analysis that anchors the Opinions section — recent work includes reporting on the METR randomized controlled trial of AI coding productivity, the economics of open versus closed model deployment, and the gap between enterprise AI adoption and enterprise AI profitability.
Techpinions is independently owned by BIV.
Corrections and factual disputes
If we published something inaccurate, email david@techpinions.com with the article URL and the specific claim you are disputing. Include a source if you have one.
We respond to every correction request, including the ones we decline. Factual errors are corrected in place with a dated note explaining what changed. We do not quietly delete articles that turned out to be wrong.
The full process is documented in our Editorial Policy.

We are an analysis publication rather than a newsroom, so we rarely cover announcements on their own. Pitches that work here tend to involve a data set, a structural shift in a market, or a person willing to talk on the record about a decision they made.
We do not accept free guest posts from third-parties. Please do not follow up more than once.
Licensing, reprints, and permissions
To republish an article, license content for internal distribution, or request permission for commercial use, email david@techpinions.com. Quoting brief excerpts with attribution and a link back does not require permission. Full-text republication and use of our content for machine learning training do — see our Terms of Service.
Privacy requests
To access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, email david@techpinions.com. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
