According to Humain chief executive Tareq Amin, the Humain One software will officially launch on October 27 at Saudi Arabia’s Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh. While Humain hasn’t announced a specific price for the Horizon Pro, Amin suggested that the device would offer long-term value. “So when we share the price structure for this, nothing in the market will be at the same price,” he noted.

Humain claims the Horizon Pro is designed for both consumers and enterprises, offering up to 18 hours of battery life thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon X1 Elite chip. Other key specifications include 32GB of RAM, 1TB of SSD storage, a 14-inch 2880×1800 OLED display, a 1080p webcam, and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. The laptop introduces a dedicated AI key, distinguishing it from other Windows laptops.
ai-powered laptop debut
Humain, based in Saudi Arabia and launched by the country’s Public Investment Fund, aims to lead the region in AI development. Despite referring to the Humain One OS as an “operating system,” it is essentially an app that can run on top of existing OS platforms like Windows and potentially Linux.
Humain will also roll out Humain Search, an AI-based search engine, and Humain Create, an application capable of generating art and videos. In addition, Humain has launched Humain Chat, a chatbot powered by its Allam model, a 34-billion-parameter AI model built from scratch. The Horizon Pro will be available to businesses through a lease subscription that includes an AI solutions suite.
It will also be sold to consumers with pre-installed AI applications that need to be unlocked and activated. Furthermore, the company plans to give away 500 laptops to students. Qualcomm’s CEO Cristiano Amon praised the Horizon Pro, saying, “Powered by our Snapdragon X Elite processors, it delivers groundbreaking performance and innovative AI-first experiences for enterprises and consumers.
We are proud of this partnership with Humain, which is delivering on the vision of disruptive agentic AI personal computing and hybrid AI.”
Looking ahead, Humain also hints at the development of a “Horizon Ultra,” although details about its specifications, capabilities, and release timeline remain undisclosed.
